I've found more info about my ggggrandfather, Samuel James Williams. His wife was Eleanor Goodings, his parents were Charles and Edith Parker Williams, grandparents were George Williams and Elizabeth Carr. Can anyone help confirm this with sources? I have found deeds in Marengo Co, AL that prove his children, Eliza(beth) and Charles b in NC and then 3 younger children born in AL including my gggrandmother, Eleanor Williams Allen (Mrs. James Allen) and that he moved to AL from Duplin Co. His marriage record to Eleanor Gooding(s) is in Jones Co, NC.
