Looking for information on the above couple. I believe they later lived in Demopolis, Marengo Co, AL. I am descended from their daughter, Eleanor G Williams who married James M Allen, MD in Macon Co, AL in 1867. By 1880 Eleanor was a widow, farming in Lee County, Loachapoka, with children Zula (Zulia), age 10 (my g-grandmother), Edith, and Charles W. Charles and family can be found right up to 1930 census. Zulia married James Norman MASON, b. Virginia about 1856. We can also trace James Norman MASON to Baltimore, MD, and back to Bessemer, AL in 1900 after Zulia died in Savannah, GA. Anyone knowing anything about the ancestry of the ALLEN, WILLIAMS, or MASON famiies, please help. James M Allen was an MD and purportedly was married to Mary Key and Caroline Burford (Bufford) before marrying Eleanor Williams.
