I am helping a friend look for any information about David Murdock b. abt. 1750 d. 1796 Craven Co, NC. Please review the information below that my friend obtained from Larry Murdock. This is all she knows. If anyone could offer some help identifying Davidís parents, it would be greatly appreciated.

Murdocks came from Craven and Duplin Counties, NC

(1)Agnes "Nancy" Murdock b. 1776 m.Andrew McIntire
(1)William Murdock b.aft 1775 d.bef 1791

married (2)Mary Willis (b.abt 1760 d. bef 1858 NC) 8 Jul 1784 in Craven County. They had five children before David's death in 1796. (Mary may have been married four times. Maiden name unknown. Osborne Powell m 1778, George Willis m 1781, David Murdock m 1784, John Gooding m 1799)

(3) David A. Murdock b. abt 1789 m. Maria Dewey
(4) William T. Murdock b. abt 1791 m. Phebe Cannon
(5) Elizabeth Murdock b. abt 1793 m. Joseph McGowen

Had one son, William, who died young. Later named another son William.
