HELP!! I am searching for information about Ann Jane BECK(could be Anne, Anny, Annie, or just Ann) born about 1810 in North Carolina, possibly Duplin County. Father was William BECK. She married -?- Moore,place of marriage unknown, and later was married to Lewis DICKSON,son of Michael DICKSON b.1806 in TN,on January 28,1828 in Tuscumbia, Colbert County, Alabama under the name of Mrs. Ann Moore.That marriage was posted in newspapers in Tuscumbia, Alabama and Nashville, Tennessee. Ann Jane and Lewis DICKSON sold some land belonging to her father William BECK, acknowledged in Franklin Co.,AL in 1835. As she is last found by me in the 1850 census Ann is in, Franklin County, Alabama,age 40, a Seanstress with a son Horris (Horace)4 , daughter Araminta 17, and a woman named Sarah M Brackin age 67. I am interested in any information about her and how she came to AL from NC. Also information about William Beck, his wife and family. I have information to share about Ann's descendants. Any clues, no matter how small, will be appreciated.
