Jan 20 1897 Samuel Thornton b. 1873 and Amanda Rose b. 1875 m. in Johnston co. NC witness Isaac Cole, Langston and I think a Thornton but can't make out first two initials. Looking for parents of THESE TWO. Samuel Isaac Thornton was b. in 1828 and lived in the Bentonville , Newton Grove areas of Johnston
dates of birth taken from marriage register.

I also have a Minnie Lee m. b. 1878 to (? S.I. )Thornton b. 1875 m. in Johnston co. NC July 11 1897.

Willis Thornton m. b. 1868 to Anna Dixon b. 1878 Oct. 1898

LOOKING for these 3 Thornton's MARRIED to, Dixon, Lee and Rose. Can they be from Wayne co. NEAR the JOhnston ,Sampson, Duplin ? co. Lines...
