Thank you for the information. I believe I know the house you speak of. As far as the headstone--is that the one that supposedly is in the Rowan Cty. Library? I also have heresay that there is/was a Bryan graveyard on the land currently developed as Oak Valley? Morgan Bryan was my 7th great-uncle, and I have enjoyed reading about the Bryan family. I hope to go on one of the Shallowford Crossing historical walks soon to gain a bit more information.
