Marietta,
There is a Philip Howard buried at the Hoggard-Reynolds Cemetery in Azle, Texas.

My grandmother referred to this man as "Uncle Phil" because he was married to her aunt Louissa Hoggard.

The dates on his marker indicate he was born in 1854 and died in 1934. Wife Louissa was born in 1858.

Could this be your Philip Howard? I am researching another Howard line and wonder if there is a connection.

Denise in Texas
