Looking for information about the family of Johannes Valentin Henlein, AKA John Hainline, who settled in Rowan Co., NC in the early 1750s in what is now Davie Co. He owned land along Dutchman's Creek. He died in May 1775 and his will was probated in August 1775 (I have a copy of the will).
John's oldest son, Jacob, is buried at the Haneline Family Cemetery, Davie Co., NC. Does anyone know where this is lcoated? Apparently there was also a Hainline cemetery about 8 miles east of Mocksville and about 2 miles northwest of the Fork where a number of the clan was buried.
My line is from John's youngest son, George, who left the area with his mother, Catharine, and brothers John Jr. and Abraham to settle near Ft. Boonesborough, KY. We believe the family traveled in a party led by Daniel Boone in 1779 when he returned to NC to retrieve his own family.
Any information will be greatly appreciated.
