On my FATHERS side was Rosa Alice Bailey. Campbell County Rustburg Virginia. (My Grandmother) Rosa Alice Bailey was b 1872 d 1944 in Lynchburg Virginia. She was born in Rustburgh, Campbell Co. Va. She was daughter of John P Bailey and Nancy J. Rosa is buried in New Jersey.

Rosa’s mothers name may have been Brooks or Brookes.


On my MOTHERS side was Elisa Bailey 1849-1826 (My Great Grandmother). maybe of Davie County/Mocksville NC. She married John T. Parnell of Mocksville. SHe is buried in Joppa Cemitery in Mocksville.

My mother was Parnell and her mother was a Anderson. All from Davie County. Many of the Parnells are in Joppa.
