Martha Beauchamp is a sister or possible half sister of my gg-grandmother Elizabeth Jane Beauchamp Etchison. I am trying to confirm Martha and Elizabeth Jane's parents. I believe their father to be Anderson or Andrew Beauchamp. This man was married twice, first to a lady named Nancy, who was the mother of Elizabeth Jane and his second wife was Mary A. and I believe she is the mother of Martha & John. I find these folks on the following census records :

1850 Davie Co., NC Federal Census Records

Beauchamp Anderson 37 M Farmer Davie Co.
Elizabeth 11 F
John 9 M
Sarah 7 F
Mary 5 F
Nancy 2 F

1860 Davie Co., NC Federal Census Records

Beauchamp Andrew 48 M Farmer NC
Mary A. 32 F
John 19 M
Nancy 12 F
Martha 6 F
James M. 5 M

Anderson/Andrew died in 1860

I couldn't find them on 1870.

1880 Farmington Twp., Davie Co., NC Federal Census

Beauchamp Mary 50 F K. House NC
James 23 M Works on Farm
Green Thomas 28 M Tobacco Trader
Martha 26 F K. House
John 7 M
Charles 3 M
Sammy 9/12 M

Thomas Green is listed as Mary Beauchamp's son in law.

I am trying to find out Nancy's (Anderson's first wife) madien name. It is possibly Call or Etchison. If you have info that might help please leave a post or e-mail me!!!
