Eaton Family Wanted

I am searching Davie County for the parents/siblings/ancestors of Daniel Johnson Eaton b. 1865 in Winston-Salem, NC? m. in Indian Territory (Oklahoma) in 1906 to Martha Francis "Mattie" Eaton.
According to family stories, Daniel was from a wealthy family in WS, NC and his father had some association with the RJ Reynolds Co. Daniel was disinherited by his father when Daniel chose to go into the ministry. He went to seminary and worked at night in a mill to finance his education. He had an accident at the mill in which he lost the fingers on his right hand.
Daniel was quiet about his life in NC. Relatives have told me that he did talk about having many brothers and sisters and that one brother was named Will.
Reverand Daniel J. Eaton was pastor at the Alice, Benevides, Realtos and San Benito, Texas Baptist churches about 1905. He then was pastor at the Mounds, Twin Mounds and Bixby, Oklahoma Baptist Churches.
He and Mattie had five children including a set of boy-girl twins.
Daniel died in Mounds, Oklahoma in 1916.
He is my great grandfather. My mother and I have looked for 20+ years for clues to his life in NC. If you have any information, please help with the search.
