Hi Betty, No I don't have any relations to the Cheshires. I ran across his information while searching for Mary Shaw Cheshire Griffith. Her husband, Charles Griffith, is a direct ancestor of mine. His will stated that she had her own estate as widow of Tennyson Cheshire and as next of kin to Elisha Shaw. I have only just found that much on her and still have not discovered her relationship to Shaw. Griffith had a very large estate at his death and it was all given to his children except provisions for her to live on. So one would imagine she was left well off.
As for his parents, I found the names John and Sarah Richardson Cheshire on the LDS site also. But sometmes it can be wrong, as I have discovered.
Wishing you luck, Libby
