Looking for the burial location of
Peter Glascock Sr. b. 1713-14 in Virginia
and died abt. 1784 in Rowan Co, NC
(now Davie Co, NC) at Dutchman's Creek.
Peter Sr. was a "road reviewer" during the
American Revolution for the Virginia Continental Army (DAR/SAR eligible).
Peter first married Jane Fishback in VA.
After her death, he married Mary Rector
who followed him to NC. His children from
his marriage to Jane remained in VA while
most of his children from his marriage to
Mary remained in NC.
Looking for descendant info from both
marriages too.
I descend from Peter Sr. & Jane through
their eldest son, John Glascock Sr., who
lived most of his life in VA before going to
Adams Co, Ohio in 1816. I descend through John Sr. and Mary Hendren's
son, Downing Hendren Glascock Sr., who
came to Ralls Co, Missouri in 1835 from
Fauquier Co, Virginia.
