Thank you very much for your research.

Do you have any concrete connection for Thomas and John Alexander Hall, Census, Death, etc?

I thought that Nathan was the father of John Alexander Hall, but the marriage date throws that out. I too believe they are connected, as John Alexander named one of his daughter's Celian, after Nathan's wife, Celia.

The Thomas Hall connection does make sense, as John Alexander named his only Son, John Thomas. Is there any records out there that could tie Thomas Hall and John Alexander Hall as his son together?

As far as the Mary "Polly" Dorsett Varner Hall, as my great-great grandmother, she is most confusing and could have been a Dorsett, or a Varner, or married before she married John Alexander Hall. For now she is Mary or "Polly" Hall, and I'll will not try to figure her out.

For now I would like to investigate the Thomas Hall connection as the Father of John Alexander Hall.

Thanks again,

Gary Hall
