Are you referring to Ransom Wesley Harris (b. 19 Aug. 1783 in Rowan Co. - d. 3 Jul 1841 in Davidson Co.)? Ransom was married to Elizabeth Wood (b. 15 Nov. 1783 in Warren Co., NC - d. 29 Sep 1845 in Davidson Co.). They are buried together in the cemetery at Canaan Methodist Church between Denton and Farmer, NC. Elizabeth Wood was an older sister to my 3rd great grandfather Jones Kendrick Wood (1790-1880).
