The census looks like the son's name is "Brown" to me. I find record that Alta Louzena Kinney Clinard, born Apr 11, 1850, died in Thomasville, NC, on Oct 26, 1937. From death records, it appears that Dollie married Wade H. Stone and had several children. They appear in Davidson Co. in the 1920 US Federal census. Wade Heskel Stone died Dec 1, 1930 in Davidson Co. Dollie had died before him. Dollie died March 7, 1924. At ancestry.com, NC death certificates, she is listed as "Dally Clinord Stone." The actual death certificate reads Dolly Clinard Stone, lists her birth date as April 10, 1889, and parents as H.P. Clinard and mother as just Kinney. She is buried at Fairview Church, Davidson Co., NC.

In the 1920 census, Dolly and Wade H. Stone are in Davidson Co., and her son is listed as Leaton B. (later census records list him as Leighton B. Stone). He is in the 1930 census, living with grandparents H. Preston and Alta Clinard, listed as grandson, age 22, with his Stone siblings.

Death records show that Leighton Brown Stone, died 14 Sep 1989 in Davidson Co., NC. He was born 7 Nov 1907.
