I can tell you that New Jerusalem Lutheran Church has two different cemeteries. I also do believe that the old church and new chuch are probably the same church, but have different churches for services.
The church & the old cemetery is located at Lexington, NC. The new cemetery is located about 2.5 miles on the left past the old cemetery. There is a tombstone marker beside the road for the new cemetery and a gravel driveway that goes down to the cemetery.
The old cemetery has about four people buried there, who are: Cora Belle Foust Hedrick b. Feb 9, 1878 d. Dec 11, 1946; Hammett L. Hedrick b. Oct 7, 1871 d. Jan 3, 1966; John L. Nance b. Jul 7, 1864 d. Mar 4, 1945; Sophonia Luelle Hedrick Nance b. Nov 30, 1866 d. Jun 16, 1934.
New Jerusalem United Church of Christ Cemetery is located at 4104 Jerusalem Road Lexington, NC 27292-7143.
