Marlene Twiford, daughter of Marvin Twiford and Anna Petka knows little about her family but she shows a Nancy Twiford born 1 Nov 1880 daughter of Truxton Twiford b Kittyhawk, NC, 2 Jan 1839 and Martha. Truxton was the son of James Twiford born 12 Apr 1793 and Frances. James died 12 May 1861. Marlene descends from another child of Truxton and Martha: George Wallace Twiford b Kittyhawk, 20 Apr 1864, d 16 Dec 1933, Manteo, NC, m 8 Jul 1894: Margaret Harris b 17 Jun 1869, Kittyhawk, d 16 Dec 1933, Manteo. This is from Pedigree and family descendant charts and are not substantiated by any source. I wonder about the simultaneous death of George and Mararet, for instance, and so many generations at Kitty Hawk.
