Several years ago I spent a year working at a job in Moyock,Currituck Co. During that time I lived for a while in Elizabeth City and for a while in Coinjock. One of my favorite weekend pastimes is often described by some as "Dump Diving" in other words checking out all the good stuff that gets pitched into the dumpsters that sat in various places in the county. Among the many other treasures, I found the original Log Book for the Moyock Masonic Lodge #238. Since it is now over 150 years old, it is literally falling apart. I have copied the names (as best I can) of the charter members. Some are quite clear while others I have had to guess at. (each individual apparently signed his own name and some didn't write much better than I do. At any rate maybe someone can get some value from this information. If you have any questions I would try to help.
