Job Carr, father of Phebe Oliver, Currituck Co. NC ca 1745

The 1745 will of Thomas Oliver mentions his wife, Phebe Oliver, and his beloved 'father-in-law, Job Carr.' As this Carr line is new to me, does any Currituck researcher have any idea where the Carrs may have been prior to the Currituck location - such as Massachusetts or Virginia? I have so far been unable to locate this grandfather at this time. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks for your response.
