Hello~

I'm searching out my gggg grandparents:
Nathan O'Neal (b. abt. 1805)
Mary (Tillett) O'Neal (b. abt. 1810)

I have found (on the census records) that they lived in "North Banks, Currituck County" in 1850 & 1860. Their post office was Powells Point.

Where is "North Banks" today~Corolla? Duck? A bigger area in general?

Does anyone know where (on a map today) in "North Banks" families settled?

Were the families close in proximity to each other or spread out from one another?

By 1870, Mary is dead and Nathan lives in Nags Head, Dare County with his post office listed as Manteo.

This search is to try and help me find Mary's TILLETT family. I have no idea who her parents were.

If anyone can help in ANY way, I greatly appreciate it.
