Minton & Clary Keen Jones sold land in Cumberland CO., NC. in 1829. These 100 acres were indentured to Clary for her mother's (Alsey Keen) use in 1815 by James Renfrow.
Could Clary have been Minton's 2nd wife? Who were the parents of Minton? Was he the Minton Jones who was in jail on the 1850 Wake CO. NC census & the Minton living with Daniel & Helen/Helina Loveless on the 1860 Covington CO., AL census?
There were many Jones (of Cumberland & Wake CO. NC.) families involved with James Renfro's perhaps 2nd wife Edith____, Gilbert, Renfrow, Swindle of Cumberland CO., NC & Lincoln CO., TN.
