I am trying to locate some information on my Mason line in NC. William Mason m. Rachel Howell in 1856 in Cumberland County,NC. They had 4 sons and 1 daughter. Who were. William Thomas Mason m. Abby Reynolds in 1882. James O. Mason m. Catherine J. Reynolds in 1881. From what I have gathered Abby was Catherine's mother. In 1892 William Thomas Mason m. Effie Jane Jackson. Andrew Mason m. Jane Davis in 1883.I can't find who John Mason married nor Eliza Mason. William and Rachel were living in the Carver's Creek township. I have been told that William Mason served in the Civil War. But, I'm not sure how to locate that information. All these Mason's were married in Cumberland County. James O. died in 1910, by 1920 Catherine and their childern moved to the Alamance County/Guilford County area. Anyone who has any information please contact me, or if anyone can direct me in the right direction as to where I could possibly find these things out. Thank you.
