Tisdales in New Bern in 1842
Posted by: Michael Perdue (ID *****5062) Date: August 22, 2011 at 12:34:07
  of 942

Seeking information on a male resident of New Bern (Craven County), NC with the last name of Tisdale. He was originally an infidel and dramatically converted at a Methodist protracted meeting in his town in the Spring of 1842. Thereafter, he was an active member of what is today Centenary Methodist Church in New Bern. He had at least one daughter, Mary, who was converted at the same meeting. Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated.
