Arthur Family - Craven County, North Caroilna

This is a request for information on Arthur family migration from the North Carolina counties of Craven and /or Carteret. Does any family member or relative know if Arthur families from those NC areas came into Greene County, Indiana through way of Whitley County, Kentucky in the 1700s ? I know several years could elapse in their progress to accomplish this. We are trying to discover if our family line came from Craven/ Carteret County or another NC county.

DNA testing would be certain to help in determining this. If you are an Arthur male or have a male relative from those North Carolina counties or other locations I encourage you to do DNA testing. We are descendants of John and Anna Mariah [Watkins] ARTHUR of Greene County, Indiana.

Regards,
Terry Arthur
