I am needing help finding information regarding my Dixon line from Craven County. William Dixon and his wife Mary UNKNOWN were in Craven County for 1790 census, but seemed to have left for TN before 1800. William's oldest son, Jedediah Dixon stayed in Craven County and did not go with the family. He married a BRINSON. There a a couple of other Dixon's in the 1790 census but I have no way of knowing if they are related. Would love to know who William's wife MARY was. I have found info, unsourced, that says that William's father was William SR and was married to a Lydia Searles - possibly associated with South Carolina. If anyone is researching this particular line, I would love some help. Lynn-Marie Dixon Fancher Milwaukie Oregon dixonmckeown@gmail.com
