Gail,
Thanks for your reply, but can you answer the following?

Can you give me your sources for Isabelle Brinson marrying William Fulsher, his being born in 1690 and Cason Brinson's 2nd wife, Ann, being the daughter of William Fulsher? That is, where did you get this information or from whom did you get it?

William Fulsher was the eldest son of Thomas Fulsher who made his will 26 Nov 1744. Thomas also had a son named Cason Fulsher and I had thought that perhaps Thomas had mar. a Brinson as the families were close. Thomas Fulsher's widow was named Sarah but, he had so many children it's possible he had more than one wife.

Also, Cason Brinson, Jr. and William Fulsher were brothers-in-law. They married sisters, the daughters of Benjamin (or Benedictus) Horsington and his wife, Dinah Carraway. Cason mar. Sarah Carraway who was the mother of his two oldest children, Cason 3rd and Dinah, who mar. a Snow. William Fulsher mar. Dinah Horsington. Two other Horsington sisters mar. close friends, Mary to Abraham Warren and Elizabeth to Mathew Martin.

William Fulsher did not name a daughter, Ann, in his will although there did appear to be two other deceased daughters, one who mar. Robert Burney (indicated as William's son-in-law in his will; he also named gr-son William Burney) and another who mar a Carraway (William named a gr-daughter, Mary Carraway, in his will). Robert Burney's widow was Lucretia Wharton Burney, who appears to be the mother of all his children except William Burney. I don't know which Carraway his other daughter mar. but Nathaniel Carraway and William Carraway were wit to his will, and I suspect Nathaniel was probably mar. to his daughter.

Of William Fulsher's other children, Elizabeth mar. James Wharton, Joshua mar. an Elizabeth ___, Shadrack mar. a Mary ___, Ephriam mar. Chloe Jones, dau. of Josias Jones, Levi mar. (or did not mar.), Ann Pinder, wid. of John Pinder, or Ruth Smith, and Deborah Fulsher mar. 1st Francis Sparrow, 2nd Francis Delamar and 3rd, Joseph Burney.I have not checked out his son, Thomas Fulsher yet.

Thanks for your help.

Ann

P.S. I know that Cason Brinson, Sr.., was the son of Mathew Brinson but since that Mathew did not leave a will do not know the names of his other children. Was Isabell the dau of Mathew Brinson?
