Thanks so much for posting something about the Willis Family. I believe that James Sr may have been the father of Joseph, who I believe was my gggg grandfather. Should you have any documents that you'd be willing to share, I would surely appreciate it.

And, if you know if any of them headed south to NC (Pitt Co) or Orangeburg area of SC and then to GA, I'd love to have info on that.

Interesting that you wrote that one of the wives might have been a Tison. Every place I've looked for the Willis family, there have been the same names cropping up: Tison, Curry, Dykes, Blitch and Tiner. They are starting to feel like old friends!!!
