Seek first (given) name of the youngest child of James C. and Mary C. COLE in the 1850 US census for New Bern, Craven County, NC (item #319, page 289; ancestry.com image 29/66), which was enumerated on 22 August 1850. The handwriting on the form for the first (given) name of the child seems to read "Kengh." He was a twelve-year-old male, born in NC, and attending school.
