I am looking for any information on a David Stokes who was in Craven Co. NC during the late 1700's before moving to Beaufort County, SC where he shows up on the 1790 census. He may be tied in with the Blount (Blunt) family also since it is believed that he married a Millen Blount. First found on a census in 1790 with a Young Stokes and Sylvanus Stokes living in the same area of Beaufort SC.
