Hi Jay---If you're still availabe for look-ups-----My ggggrandfather Obediah Eason b. 1811 -- wife Mary C. Eason lived there in 1868. Their last daughter Martha was born in 1868. I was told that Obediah fell off his horse and broke his neck. He was a tenant farmer near Whiteville. Mary C. Eason is listed on 1970 census in Pender County NC for 1870 census. Can't find where Obediah was buried. Any help appreciated.
