My Curtis Spivey, son of William Spivey, Sr., along with siblings William Spivey, Jr. and Edmund Spivey migrated to Pike Co., Ala from Columbus Co., N. C. Curtis Spivey married Lucy Cartrett (Carteret, Cartwright, Cartrette), dau of Claudius Cartrett and Ruth or Sarah Ward of Columbus Co., N. C. Lucy had several siblings, but I know of only one sibling, Ephraim.
