Donna,

This may or may not help.
I found a David Martin on the 1830 census of Horry County, SC. As you know Horry County is next to Columbus County, NC.
David Martin age 30 to 40 yrs old
1 male child under 5 yrs old
2 females under 5 yrs old
1 female 15 to 20 yrs old David's wife?
Also two names above I found:
Caleb Howel age 50 to 60 yrs
1 male 5 to 10 yrs
2 males 15 to 20 yrs
1 female 20 to 40 yrs

Susan
