James Swindell marriage 1800 or so

James Swindell was the son of Samuel Swindell. They lived in Bladen County about 1790. Samuel was also the father of Willis Swindell who ended-up in Columbus County after it seperated from Bladen. James Swindle married a lady named Mary. Her maiden name was either Howe or she was the wife of a William Howe and married James after her 1st husbands death. I am wondering if there are early marriage records fo Bladen and or Columbus Counties? James and Mary Swindle moved to Benton County, Tennessee where they died.
