Columbus County Heritage Book - Bug Hill & Lees Townships

Hi everyone,

Bug Hill & Lees Townships are where most of my family are from. I'm hoping that we will have a chance to learn about and see more info on our ancestors.

I'm afraid many may miss the chance to be involved in the Columbus County Heritage book.
Take a look at the site.

We need to get more submittals from Bug Hill & Lees Townships for the book. It looks like to me our section of the county is under represented at this time. I know there are great stories to be told from this area.
Get those family history/stories/pictures/military records in, and those Church histories in.
Let someone know if you need help with an article or picture. Wal-Mart can make a copy of your picture or a committee member can scan if if you need it.
Don't be intimidated by the submittal your best and submit what you can. We have a editing committee that will clean it up.
The deadline is Nov 15, 2003 so ask for help if you need it. If you miss that date submit anyway, it may still make it in the book.
Also volunteer for the book committee, we would love to have you.......
email Committee chairman Gerri Lynn to volunteer.
