Dear Tom, It is very kind of you to offer "lookups", I hope ;you haven't bee deluged!

I need a definitive answer on the wife of David James Ray, Baptist minister, b.1817, and married either Nancy, Dew or Nancy Highsmith, 5 April, 1838. I have heard it both ways from folks who ought to know. I am beginning to wonder if he was married twice. Is there anything in you book that would help me out? I would be forever grateful!

Hopefully, Pauline E Taylor
