If you have one of these names on your Family Tree please consider joining the yDNA project. These names were spelled many different ways over the years. They are so tangled and so many errors have been published that there is no other way to have a proven lineage.

People are pledging money to help those who are living on a fixed income or just struggling to make ends meet in these hard times. If you are a male that carries one of these surnames, or any other spelling, please do consider joining the group. If you are a female (like I am) you can sponsor you father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin or the guy down the road. Using traditional research methods, yDNA and working together we can untangle these families. Some of these families were prone to marry cousins and that adds to the confusion mix.

These DNA test will be used for Genealogical purposes only. They will never be used for anything else. Please go to: http://www.familytreedna.com/public/byers/default.aspx.
