Elisha Byars and Mary Tate

Could someone please help me with information about Elisha Byars of Sandy Run, Cleveland County, North Carolina. He was Postmaster there in 1855. Elisha was b ca 1800. He married Mary Tate they had children, John, Joseph, Caroline and Jane that I know of, both Elisha and Mary are buried in Camp's Creek Baptist Cemetery in Cleveland County North Carolina
