Mike, Thank you for responding to my email...I wasn't sure if I would get one since so much time had passed. Before I forget, do you have a regular email address that I can scan some genie records, etc and forward them to you that way? Your info has filled some of the gaps I had on Sarah and James' material. My "stuff" is just too much to try and do on this site I fear. But, here is some initial names, dates, locations, etc. Isaac Wells' family were in PA before moving to NC. That is what is listed as his father John's (a farmer and constable) bp in 1741 and his parents may have come from England prior to that. Isaac's (blacksmith, hatter and horse blanket maker) dtr Jane b 1803 in Rutherford Co., NC d 4 Apr 1857 (whether it was during the same flu epidemic that killed her parents is not known. There were several members of the family that died during that same time frame of 1857) in Cleveland Co., NC and is buried in Pine Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, Shelby, Cleveland Co., NC. Jane married Jacob R. Randall (wagonmaker) b 2 Nov 1799 in Rutherford Co., NC and d 21 Nov 1889 Cleveland Co., NC. Their son John Allison Randall (farmer and served in Civil War) b 31 Dec 1833 in Rutherford Co., NC d 12 Aug 1862 Camp Magnum, NC md Margaret R Pinson b 11 Jul 1827 Rutherford Co., NC d 7 Nov 1908 Rutherford Co., NC. Their dtr Irena Hesentine Randall b 13 Oct 1861 Cleveland Co., NC d 1 May 1941 York Co., SC md Julius Emery Stacy (farmer) b 21 Feb 1862 Burke Co., NC d 27 Mar 1933 Rutherford Co., NC. Their dtr Ida Matilda Stacy b 3 July 1898 Rutherford Co., NC d 23 Dec 1973 Cleveland Co., NC md Arthur Clarence Brooks (farmer, truck driver and owned a gas station in later years) b 19 July 1893 Cleveland Co., NC d 2 Sept 1960 Cleveland Co., NC. Their dtr Muriel Wilda Brooks b 8 Mar 1926 Cleveland Co., NC d 01 Oct 2007 Placitas, NMexico md Norman Wayne Edwards, Sr. (electrician) b 15 July 1927 Joplin, MO d 14 June 1977 Frederick Co., MD ...and their dtr...ME...Barbara Ellen Edwards (LVN) b 3 Jan 1957 Frederick Co., MD md John Charles Trimble (truck driver for Morris-Ingram Concrete) b 16 Feb 1955 Philadelphia Co., PA. Now, in addition to all this info "cousin", we have more in common than you might think. My husband, two grown sons and I ALSO live here in Texas...Abilene as a matter of fact. My husband was in the Air Force for 20 years in Electronics and Communications (worked on the A-10's, helped to put the new digital phone systems in all over the world and helped set up the family call center at Wilford Hall in San Antonio at the start of the first Gulf War. He retired as a TechSgt. in 1996. And we also have lived in Turkey...in Izmir between 1992-94, as well as Iceland and almost every state in the U.S. Our sons are 30 and 24 and live here in town. We used to live in Ft. Walton Beach, FL, but living out of an evac pack six months a year got to be old really fast. So we packed up, sold our home of 10 years and headed west. Think that is enough for one email. Look forward to hearing from you again. Have a great weekend...Barb Notify Administrator about this message?
