Sorry, but William Cobb & Polly ? are not the parents of the William Cobb (1804-1895) who married Martha Harmon (1809-1868). William and Polly Cobb had a son named William but that William's entire life is clearly documented in Illinois, after his family moved there. William Cobb & Martha Harmon lived their lives in NC. I am one of the many Cobb researchers who once believed there was a connection.
