Candy, This is not my family line so I have not verified the following information. Maybe you would be so kind to correct or add anything you have. Here is what I have on the family.

William Alonzo Peeler b 9 Dec 1846, d 11 Aug 1885 married ca 1875-1876 Nancy Callie or Carol Glass b 1856 NC. William's parents were David Hoyle Peeler b 4 May 1824 Rutherford County, NC, d 14 Feb 1915, and Eliza E Robertson b 21 April 1821, d 1 March 1879. Both buried Rutherford Colledge, Rutherford County, NC. Nancy's parents were George Glass b 22 Jan 1816 McDowell County, NC d 29 Jan 1880 Alvord, Wise County, TX and Sarah L Hunt b 27 Dec 1827 SC, d 22 Dec 1922 Alvord. Notes on William's Military:

Served in the Confederate Army in Capt Well's Co. D, 2nd Jr. Reserves and afterwards with 71st NC Reg. He was a Fifer

Military Service: CSA, 71st North Carolina Regiment
