My husband's family is from the Fallston area of Cleveland County,NC. I know very little about his ancestors. His grandfather was Abraham Kelly McSwain and his grandmother's name was Amanda. I have not done any research on the McSwain's since I have been working exclusively on my side. I am originally from Fayetteville. My lines include McDonald, Fisher, Tolar, Johnson, Lancaster, Cashwell, Campbell, Streety, Adams, Gibson, Baxley, McLean, Autry, Crumplere and Pate (so far). So with this much searching, I have not had time to work on my husband's side. I do know that a McSwain from around Boiling Springs, NC has done alot of research. There is also information in the genealogy room in Shelby, NC at the Library. If you live in the area, you can visit the room and see if you can find anything on your McSwain family. Happy researching.
