Seeking information on Mary Ledbetter who was bound to William Griffin, Feb 1785, Chatham Co, NC; he appointed guardian. She was abt. 14 yrs old.
Also, seeking information on Ephraim Ledbetter bound to James Copeland, Sr, Aug 1797, to learn trade of farmer; in 1st court session he was about 7 yrs. old and 2nd session about 9 yrs. old. His mother listed as Winifred Ledbetter. Do you know anything of these Ledbetters?
