I am searching for a marriage of Samuel Cobb of Orange/Caswell Co., NC, probably in about 1755-1765. I believe that he left there for SC in about 1765. In 1761 he received a Grancille Grant for some 487 acres that was later sold to hnery Cobb, his brother.
Also do you show any Peake's back in that period. Possibly a Nathanial Peake.
Could use information on an ASA COBB as well as a John Cobb, brothers to Samuel, Henry and Noah.
Any information on COBB's from about 1755 to 1790 would be most appreciated. THANKS!!!
L.C. CObb
