Someone recently sent me a few pages from THE THOMAS JACKSON WALKER,SR. FAMILY of CASWELL COUNTY, NC by Florence Roberts Walker Butler. He found this in the NC Archives in Raleigh.

There are many Walker names listed on deeds. If you need a specific one between 1777 and 1817, just let me know.

Have you ever seen that a Walker family left NC between 1808 and 1818? They had a son named Benjamin Franklin Walker who was born in 1808, and in GA in 1818 they had a son named Terrell. I stil do not know the parents of Benjamin who married Mahala Vaughn in Oglethorpe County, GA in 1832. Ben and Mahala named their first son William Elbe and their second son James Valentine. A daughter was Bethany Harrison. These were the names that could reveal connections. There were other children listed on the 1850 Franklin County Census and the 1860 Harris County, GA census.
