I'm not sure about this Thomas Wray and Rebecca Fowler but I believe Rebecca was probably a dau. of Israel Fowler (b. bef. 1755). There were 2 Isaac Fowlers who were once living in NC - one came from NC and settled in SC before moving to TN. He was said to be a son of Richard and Debby Fowler of Laurens Co., SC. There were also 2 Richard Fowlers in Laurens Co., SC. One was married to a woman named Elizabeth and his will stated he had two sons (Joshua and Richard) and several daughters. The other Richard was married to a woman named Debby and had sons named Isaac and Richard as well as a dau. This Richard was said to be a brother of Francis Fowler of Spartanburg & Greenville Co., SC. I have had to put my Fowler research on the backburner for now because of farm business but will try to get my files together and get back in touch later.
