I tried to send you a message directly but that failed. Questions I have are do you think that the 1806 and the 1812 marriage were both the same William Morgan? Since my William left before 1820 and is found with Drury Morgan in Humphries County, TN in 1820 do you think I have the correct MORGAN. I know that is a guess but I think I am just looking for someone who knows the frustration of not knowing whether this is her guy or not. William had a tendency to buy and sell land. He settled in the Morgan County, Indiana area in the 1820s and did not leave. So it appears he was not a rover. Stories have been told that he took a flatboat down the White River and further and brought back mules to do the plowing for farmers. He sold the mules and made a tidy sum. I am interested in your thoughts. I have discounted any info after 1820 but could believe that he married both those women. William had two sons born in 1810 and 1811 then none until 1814. So it is possible that his first wife died and he married another.
Thanks for your helpful info.
