Daniel, James, and Basil Jennings

I have been stuck here for years. Can anyone help. This is what I know for sure. Daniel Jennings purchased land in Caswell County, NC in 1801. James Jennings purchased land in Caswell County, NC in 1806. Both are on the census for Caswell County in 1810. James dies. His wife Philadelphia Graham Jennings moves the family to Scott County, Virginia (to be near the Graham family?) and is on the 1820 census there. Her children were Basil, George, Henry, and Malinda. My line comes through Basil.
What I have been trying to find for years is where did James come from? There were 16 James Jennings in the War of 1812. I have a land warrant for service issued to "Basil Jennings, son and the other heirs at law of James Jennings" The land is 160 acres in Arkansas. Was this land sold? The family stays in Scott County, Virgina. The warrant states that he served in Capt. Page's Company of the 12th Regiment. I found a Capt. Page in Massachusetts. What would he be doing there? Anybody know anything about that?
Family tradition says that three brothers came from Ireland.(some think to New Bern, NC?) I don't know if the Daniel from Caswell County is one of these brothers, the father of James or kin at all, or if the Ireland story is even true. Anyway this is where I have been stuck for many years and the only leads I have.
