Just a note to the Caswell County list for anyone looking for Samuel J. ATKINSON. He is buried at Siloam Friends Meeting Church cemetery, Surry County, NC. This church was originally a Methodist church in the 1800s and early 1900s, and not sure when it changed hands.
His dates and family are:
- Samuel J. ATKINSON, b. 12-24-1850, d. 5-15-1940
- Sarah Russell JONES (wife), b. 11-4-1858, d. 12-21-1955
- Lillian L. ATKINSON, youngest daughter, b. 5-13-1893, d. 7-10-1904 (appendicitis).
