I wonder if you are looking for 1870 info regarding Barcus Crawley. I don't have that census record available at the moment, but I do know from the 1850 Caswell Co., NC census that he did in fact have a daughter named Elizabeth, b. 1832. He also had children named Martha Ann and Francis M.(son). Barcus was 50 and his wife Elizabeth(Patterson) was 46 in that census. It is possible they had additional children, but I have no record of them.
I have a lot more information on Elizabeth Patterson's family. Crawleys and Pattersons came from Halifax County, VA.
I do have a note by the 1850 census record for the Crawleys that says "Forsyth Co.?, p. 731" but I didn't note why I did that.
